Happy Halloween and Thanksgiving

We've had a great start to our holiday season. We went to Lagoon with our friends, the Rays, we had a super Haloween (minus we all had strep) and had a fun Thanksgiving weekend this weekend.

We've Been Busy this Month!

Hey everybody, we want to share all the exciting things we've been up to this month. Ammon is teaching, coaching soccer, working on his masters, and still running our business. We are all just chasing after him trying to keep up. Chase is in Joy School and Soccer (although that's not really working out-how do you explain to a 4-year-old that it's okay NOT to have the ball all the time?)We went up to a family wedding so the boys got to see their great-grandma this week. We can't wait for the weather to cool off a little more so we can do more work on the yard. We'll see what next month brings!Click on the picture below to see more!

Trip to Idaho

Chase and I went to Idaho while Ammon was on a 60-mile backpacking trip. We had a fantastic time. Here are pictures of all the fun things we did while we were there visiting our friends the Rays. We have missed them since they moved, and had a wonderful time with them-take a look!

We Love Our New House and Neighborhood

Here are some fun pictures of our new neighborhood. Chase and his cousin and good friends-she lives down the street. If you look in the background you can see all of the rest of the kids having our "Block Party Water Fight" We are so lucky to have awesome neighbors and lots of kids for Chase to play with. Lagoon

I took my choir kids to Lagoon last weekend and ended up taking Chase with me. We had such a great time! He loves to go on rides. Here we are on the sky ride. He liked the part where the water would come up and almost touch his feet. He went on the bumper cars once and hit the curb, he bumped his knee and was very upset. Every time we walked by them after that he said," Those are very dangerous." It was really funny.

Ammon's 27th'>

We had a great time with our families for Ammon's Birthday today. We had pork ribs, steak and even homemade icecream cake (which was almost a disaster-sometimes I try to be a little too creative for my own good.) Chase had such a great time hanging out and riding 4-wheelers that by 8:30 he was out! It was fun to have a special day for a special husband. Click on the picture to see more-

Knottsberry Farm

Ammon (the best hubby in the world) got me tickets to Wicked for my birthday. It was so amazing. I had a wonderful time-Ammon even found himself enjoying it. Since we were headed to LA we went to Knottsberry farm and to the LA Zoo. Here are some pics of our trip.

Our trip to Knottsberry Farm was so much fun. Here is Chase with Snoopy. He loved seeing all the characters. They had a special Spring Safari for the kids where they have to go from station to station and get "treasure." Chase thought it was so great.
This is a picture of Chase pushing his "baby." He has such an imagination-he all of a sudden decided that he was pretending to have a baby sister. Everyone looked at us like we were crazy as we had to take the baby out of the stroller so that Chase could ride for a while. He was always checking to make sure I was "still holding her with two hands" and "being very careful." We were laughing. He was so careful with pretend baby. Any time we would leave the stroller he would make sure we brought her or left someone watching her. He's already a great big brother. Look how happy he is...

Mom and Chase giving a high five on the merry-go-round. We thought we would have to leave early as Chase got tired. He was quite a trooper. We got there at 10:00am and were dragging him out at 8:30pm because we were tired! He was always the smallest one on the rides. He's so brave. All the other parents comment as they watch him put his little hands up in the air.

The Next Tiger Woods

Chase in the backyard golfing with his buddies. They have been practicing almost every day. We're hoping to take them to the real golf course soon. Look at that backswing. Chase actually gets some pretty good hits in.

Chase the Rocker

Grandma bought Chase a guitar one day when they were together. Imagine my surprise when he turned on the microphone and said, "Here's my question...are you ready to rock and roll?" I can honestly say I have no idea where he got that. The rest of the night was filled with much "music." As I put him to bed he said, "I love rock and roll." We also got a good laugh out of that one.

Chase at the Youth Rodeo

I took Chase to the Youth Rodeo last night. We had a great time as you can tell. Chase wanted to do the egg toss like everyone else. He had to wear overalls so he could be like "Old McDonald at the farm and make things grow...." He had to be really brave to sit by this little goat. The handler helped me get this picture.

Chase is quite the little photographer. As you can tell, he will not shoot until he is quite satisfied you have a good enough smile. Here's Aunt Krystal, Mom, and Dad...say 'Cheese!'

Our House

Most of you know we have been building our house for what seems like forever! Here we are actually moved in and lovin' it.
